We are snowed in and I’m also feeling under the weather so I’m unable to write a proper post this week. But at my house we are watching ice skating at the Olympics, and I wanted to share with you this old program that is so beautiful I could never forget it. Isabelle and Paul Duchesnay at the 1990 World Figure Skating Championship. This is what figure skating is to me. It brought tears to my eyes again, when I watched it today, after so many years. Oh, and that unreal music! (It’s two pieces performed by Inti Illimani, folk music ensemble from Chile, Dolencias and Sicuriadas. Beautiful!)
